Studio 58

My first visit to Studio 58 in downtown Hilo was great. My stylist was Manny and I had a shampoo, haircut and blow out/curl. I'm a kupuna with very thin hair past my shoulders. He listened carefully to what I wanted. I have been trying to find a good salon in Hilo for a while now since Kathy Romero, who did my hair since 1990, retired. I've been getting my hair done when I travel to Honolulu and that's not as often as my hair needs attention. Now I can trust in Studio 58 as my place and Manny as my stylist. Prices are very reasonable. Check them out!! I believe you will be very happy you did.

LOVE LOVE LOVE studio 58!! The wash, cut, and blowout, didn't feel rushed he took his time and took such great care of my hair!! I walked out of the salon feeling like a brand new women!!

I was able to get in super last minute for a cut and Manuel was AMAZING. Ive always had super long hair and just done trims myself because of fear it would be hacked off but after 10+ years with no real styling I was looking like cousin it. Manuel trimmed my dead ends and layered/styled my hair beautifully. He worked with me to figure out what cut would work and look the best for my hair and I am so so so happy with the results. I will definitely be returning!
