I've been seeing Carmen for just about 25 years. She's very consistent and very good at what she does. Through the years, we've developed a friendship and she helps my family as well. My hair was in total shambles during Covid, and a short time when she hurt her hand. I tell her time and time again to take some days off, but she doesn't. She's always saying that she needs to be here for her customers. She's totally devoted to her craft and her customers. It's really inspiring to know such a dedicated person like Carmen. I'm so lucky to have found her a quarter of a century ago.

I'm so happy I found Joe again and here at Carmen's Barber & Hairstyling. Joe just knows how to cut my hair right and the way I like. I have tried other stylists here and there closer to home for convenience purposes (spur of the moment) but it was always slightly different then how I wanted a long layers cut.Ive been going to see Joe over the last decade when he was at his previous Mapunapuna location before they shut down. I haven't gotten my hair cut for the last few years. So I didn't get to find out where Joe would go before his old shop closed and was sad. Luckily I was able to find Joe still doing his thing, and at Carmen's. Anyone who used to go to 99 Beauty and Barber you can find Joe here !
