Gate 5 is the place to go to get a good cut. Been going there since the late 1980's. Friendly, respectable atmosphere is an accurate description. Walk-ins are welcomed and appointments are available. Great conversation and laughs are had by all. Most importantly, you'll receive great quality service worth a return visit.
I only leave reviews when my experience is either exceptional or horrendous. In the case of The Gate 5 Barber Shop, my experience was phenomenal. Twan was extremely professional and attentive. Unlike my previous barber, Twan actually catered my haircut to me and not his idea of what I wanted. Before I departed from the chair, I was certain that I would return. The shop has a vintage feel to it; reminding me of when I use to go to the barbershop as a child in the 90s.
I’ve literally been all around the world but there’s just something about the hometown barbershop that’s just a whole vibe. It doesn’t matter what the topic is, it’s gonna be lively, funny and it don’t get any better than with the crew at Gate 5.
