Ethnic hair is not their specialty. Although, I do appreciate the effort put into my daughter’s hair. Apparently, pressing African American hair fully straight without using chemicals isn’t very possible, but Mommy pressed it down with our usual course hair friendly oils when we got home and it looks much better. I usually do it myself, but I was just looking for a break. I would STRONGLY advise providing more products that more so support “Ethnic” hair. Also, when trimming course hair, it’s always best to do it after you have pressed the hair to see exactly where the trim is needed. Again, I do appreciate the effort and, despite my dissatisfaction, the service was still paid for along with a tip. <3

Missy Johnson has been doing my hair for 20 years. I’ve never went to anyone else. No need to. She is amazing. I have a short hair style and not many stylists are good with short hair. I’ve never walked out of her chair with a complaint. She is a phenomenal stylist and person. So if anyone is needing a new stylist look no further. She is the one. She’s very patient and will work with you to achieve the look you want. I’ve brought her many pictures over the years with cuts I wanted and she nailed it EVERY SINGLE TIME. And color.
