My air conditioning unit wasn't working correctly so I made a call to McCoy and Son after getting a referral. I heard back from Chris promptly and an appointment was made for a technician to come out to look at my air conditioner unit. Lee showed up promptly at the designated time and was very knowledgeable and professional. I found Lee to be very thorough and patient as he explained to me what was wrong with my unit and what was needed for the repair. Lee took the time to take pictures of the upstairs unit (as it's in the attic and not easily accessible) so that I could better understand some under lying issues that need to be addressed. Lee was able to make the repair on my downstairs unit and now I have cool air thankfully. I also signed up for the maintenance plan too on both of my units. I would definitely recommend McCoy and Son for any HVAC needs. Thanks again Lee for taking the time not only to fix my unit but to be sure that I understood (to the best of my ability) the reason why and how to change the filters correctly.

My AC started blowing warm air. I contacted McCoy and Son’s yesterday. The gentleman that came to my house was extremely nice and knowledgeable. He did not tell me things needed fixed that didn’t just to get money. He got my unit blowing cold air with in 15 minutes of arriving. He did advise I get a new power board as mine has something loose and it’s also 17 years old. I will definitely be reaching back out to schedule for that after the service I received today. Also they do offer discounts for service members and I also believe for first responders.

My experience with McCoy & Son is the exact reason that I love working with small businesses. The amount of professionalism, fairness and care that went into the process of replacing my HVAC system is greatly appreciated! Mr. McCoy was very transparent about the process and the cost. He was willing to answer any question I had. Genuinely top notch communication from a service provider. He was also the only one that recommended a 2-stage system and was more fairly priced than those who were quoting 1-stage systems. The install went very well and the system is working perfectly. After having my new system for a day, I already love how quiet the 2-stage system is. Getting a HVAC is stressful in itself but McCoy & Son helped make this process a lot easier!

Lee the service technician came to my house the same day to diagnose my problem. He was polite and informative and explained everything to me in terms I understood. First, I would like to say a very happy with this company. Mr. Chris McCoy contacted me after a response I sent in an email saying my system was not working. We come back from vacation in June 2025 and it was 90° in my house so they came out his son Lee and checked out to see why it was not cooling and discovered that my coil for my system had blew a hole out and lost all the old refrigerant they stated it was not repairable, so I was given options on upgrading the system due to the refrigerant was outdated and made it hard to get parts for the system. After getting the quote to replace my equipment. They were very responsive and within a couple of days I was cooling again. I ended up going with a two stage heat pump system, which works very good. My energy caused has gone down and the new thermostat they installed was on the Wi-Fi ecobee thermostat, which allows me to control my system via my phone, which is a great option when you’re in bed and need to turn the thermostat up to get warm during the cold season overall I am very impressed with this company. The installers were great. The service was great so I decided to pick them up as a yearly maintenance since then they have been serviced my system and I’ve been nothing but happy since then and I would like to apologize to them to say I’m sorry that it took me so long to do review since no review is just as bad as a bad review. Chris was very responsive, he called me back in minutes of my first contact. Another contractor quoted me 10x the amount Chris quoted me for the same job. Dusty came out to verify what was wrong on Saturday. The parts vendor was not open until Monday. Chris called them soon as they opened and found the part available. Dusty and Lee came a few hours later and did all the repairs. All three gentlemen were polite and professional. I am grateful to find such an honest company that is not trying to take advantage of a customer in need. I will continue to use McCoy & Son Heating and Cooling for all my hvac needs. A++++++

Chris and Lee have taken great care of me since I first hired them to replace my HVAC system in 2023. If I have an issue or need maintenance, they come out to my house within 24 hours. They’re very fair and I know they’ll give me the best options without trying to upsell me or overcharge.

Great at what they do and are reasonable on their pricing when compared to others. Very prompt and give you plenty of information about what the problem is and why you really need. Was originally quoted from another company that I needed a whole new system and McCoy was actually able to repair the A/C. Unfortunately a year later, the heat failed and was leaking carbon monoxide and they shut the system off and recommended to replace the system. Replaced the system the very next day! Very satisfied and will NEVER use anyone else again.
