SGMC Primary Care - Connell provides wonderful and professional care. The doctors are described as fantastic, caring, kind, knowledgeable, and great listeners who address health concerns with compassion and intentionality. They offer educated options and do not overbook appointments, resulting in lower wait times. The staff is always nice, helpful, responsive, and creates a comfortable atmosphere where patients feel at ease. A noted concern is the preference to consistently see one primary doctor to better address ongoing health needs. Overall, patients report very positive experiences and feel their care is a team effort.
Dr. William Courson has been fantastic. I turn 40 soon and had not been to primary care in years until last week. I essentially
let my physical health go bonkers with weight gain, poor diet, and many other things. Dr. Courson has addressed each of my health concerns with compassion and intentionality. He is a great listener and offers educated options to address concerns such that it is a team effort to achieve outcomes between patient and physician.
Dr. Hill is very caring and kind. She does not overbook appointments like so many local doctors. A patient’s wait time is on the much lower end of the spectrum. I won’t name names, but so many doctors in Valdosta pack the waiting room and patients wait for hours.
Got days wrong, showed up a week early for my appointment. Jo Ann said when I was checking in today’s 3:00 didn’t show , I would be seen. Luckily they missed and I got the appointment.
