I drive from out of town to come here because of their service. I recently had to put a fur baby to sleep and the way they treat you says everything. They let you stay with them and make an already difficult situation a little less stressful. Thank you Quailwood.

Quailwood has always been our go to for all of our furbabies. The staff is always so friendly. Their prices are fair also. I’ve never heard a bad thing about them.

The Vet techs and Dr Branch were extremely kind and professional, however all of the girls upfront are extremely rude and condescending. I would not call them ladies even though half of them are old enough to be my mother. They have zero communication between the techs and receptionist and as a result you get explained everything twice. I told the little dark haired witch sitting in the front right corner that I could only leave $100 dollars for the day which would cover the X-ray I brought him for and she proceeded to explain that if it was more I would have to pay it on the spot when I came back as if I couldn’t afford it. I would never and I do mean never spend my money at this joke of an establishment again. And it’s unfortunate because the Vet was very kind and professional but has made the wrong choice in the women he’s hired to represent the fore front of his practice.

I wanted to share my experience at this animal hospital. Unfortunately, I had a really rough time. When I called their after-hours number during an emergency, the animal doctor was incredibly rude and seemed annoyed and more focused on pointing out the fact he was missing sleep. I decided to wait until morning because of his attitude. The next day, I was charged an exorbitant amount for a poorly done bandage and unnecessary services. To make matters worse, they even charged me for calling the after-hours number ( which they claim they do not do) which they claimed was due to their lack of sleep. It's just not right. I hope this review helps others be aware of the issues I faced. Take care and find a better place for your furry friends!

Took my dog in because he was having trouble using the bathroom. The vet called me and said that he has a very enlarged prostate and needed to be neutered the next morning due to him producing too much testosterone. I agreed to bring him in because I wanted to do what was best for his health. That night after calling several vets I determined that I needed to make sure that Quailwood has done bloodwork and a urine sample first. The following morning I took him in to have surgery and asked to see his lab work. They had not done any. How they determined he was producing too much testosterone with no bloodwork or urine sample is beyond my knowledge. I canceled the surgery and took him to Philema Animal Hospital in Leesburg. The wonderful vets (especially Dr. Green) concluded after multiple vets palpitating his prostate and an ultrasound, plus blood work and a urine sample determined that my dog has nothing wrong with his prostate and was in great health. This really concerned since my dog is a hunting dog knowing that neutering him would affect his desire to hunt and well as potentially breed. I honestly believe Quailwood was trying to get a check for an easy surgery. Really feels like malpractice to me. I have never written a review of a place before, much less a negative one but this truly would've changed my dog's life for the worse. Quailwood has lost a client and philema and Dr. Green have gained a lifetime client!
