Piedmont McDuffie provides a positive and caring hospital experience across many services. Patients consistently describe the best experience, with excellent care and a very clean facility. The staff, including nurses, doctors, and technicians, are repeatedly noted as extremely kind, very pleasant, compassionate, attentive, professional, friendly, skilled, and thorough. They make patients feel comfortable, cared for, and understood. This high standard of care is reported in the Emergency Room, for scheduled surgery, and for outpatient procedures like mammograms. The ER receives specific praise for impressively quick registration and triage, amazing urgency, and for being the best emergency room experience. Surgical patients note that perioperative nurses are genuinely caring and skilled. The overall environment is one where every person encountered is nice, ensuring patients get the care they need very quickly. Went to the emergency room for sharp stabbing back pain where I had my back surgery not even four months ago and numbness in both legs and tingling and saddle numbess and they sat me in a wheelchair in the hallway where the ambulance double doors are every time those doors opened I froze my booty off. I was told when they get a room they move me they kept giving the rooms to others and I sat in the wheelchair in that hallway freezing for 4 1/2 hours before they did a mri on my back. They never offered me a warm blanket or anything. I kept waiting amd waiting and waiting and nurses walked by me and others seen how bad pain I was in a steriod shot to arm and a percocet...read full review
My wife was admitted yesterday for what we now know is Mastitis thanks to her OB. Dr. Gore at Piedmont McDuffie stated that he spoke with her OB and her OB requested she be transferred to Doctors Hospital. Per her OB, that was never the case; Dr. Gore dumped her onto another hospital because he did not want to care for her which is illegal. Her Nurse Jesse on the other hand was great overall!
I came for a mammogram and had the best experience. My tech was very gentle and very pleasant. The hospital seems very clean and every person I encountered was nice.
I will be sending my friends here for mammograms!!
