When I visited, I had not had a haircut in more than a year and a half. It got to the point where it got caught in my friend's armpit when I gave her a hug. That's when you know it's time. At the time I lived in Birmingham, and it was difficult to find a place that knows how to cut thick Asian hair. I planned a weekend trip to Atlanta where I would get a haircut [and eat lots of food]. I did not expect to get an appointment with Stella, the owner! I showed her pictures of what I was looking for in a new hairstyle, and she made it come to life. She also styled it so that when I tied up my hair, it still looked great! I don't style my hair on my own at all and tie it up often, so this was something I greatly appreciated. I have moved out of the South, but if I plan a trip to Atlanta, I will be coming back to Stella.

If you need a hair cut this place is good BUT....no color/highlights! My experience was horrible. I had asked the stylish if she could touch up my highlights since my roots were beginning to show. My previous stylish moved so I gave this place a try. She said she could, and after 3 hours my hair was visibly damaged, overprocessed and brittle...and to top it off the highlights were grayish blue! I currently have 5 colors on my hair...she kept saying she was aiming for ash blonde but I never asked for that. I had to go to a different salon where they had to deep condition my hair and add toner to tone the grey. They said it was too damaged to go through another process.I believe the products Stella salon uses are not quality products. I still paid for the service ..She only took down the price by 25%.

My experience today was horrible. I was letting my hairstylist know that I was in pain but she didn't seem bothered by it. By the time I noticed I had a REAL CHEMICAL BURN she stated "because you washed your hair before this appointment is the reason why its this sensitive." Was not given a discount and was forced to pay full. This place is ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING. DO NOT COME HERE IF YOU DON'T want a CHEMICAL BURN.

Terrible service, waited an hour and a half for a haircut after being told it would be a 15 minute wait and then they kicked me out after closing hours. Stay far away very rude people.

Horrible service. Refused to refund after leaving a chemical burn on my mother's head and blamed it on their sensitive skin. DO NOT GO HERE if you value service and safety.

my friends mother just got a chemical burn from her hair appointment today and the hairstylist said that it was her mothers fault that her hair was sensitive which lead to her chemical burn. They didn't offer her a discount and made her pay full price after making her go through that.

Stella is very friendly and funny. My haircut always looks great and I never get bored talking to her. Recommended for men's haircuts.

Make sure you book an appointment prior as there may be others getting their hair bleached or there may not be enough employees to do your hair! I booked an appointment for a cut and bleaching session to blonde two days prior to my appointment. I loved how there was a tablet for me to watch Netflix while I was having my hair done. This session took from 2:30-7:10pm! Overall great experience and the stylist was very nice.
