I have been using Tina for years! She’s amazing and always listens to exactly what I want while maintaining the health of my hair. Josh cut my son‘s hair for the first time. My two-year-old was not happy but Josh made it so easy and fun. Such a great atmosphere!!

The Hair Canvas Salon is THE place to go! the salon staff(salon family) are always so welcoming with their bright personalities and respectfulness.

i loved my “mommy makeover” from the beautiful stylist in the front, Tina. she gave me and my hair the exact refresh i needed!
Josh trims my husband’s beard as well and it ALWAYS looks perfect. they are all great and would all do a fantastic job! the area that the salon is in is very convenient as well, if you are a walk-in on a busy day and have a wait time ahead of you, not only is the waiting area the the salon very cozy but there are also retail stores and restaurants close by to bypass some time. i give them all of my stars, make The Hair Canvas YOUR salon, you will NOT regret it!

I can’t imagine anyone else doing my hair than Hair Canvas Salon. I am always greeted with respect and all smiles and great customer service❤️ I get my hair colored and cut for years and I have always enjoyed my time. It is always a fun experience and that’s what you want going to a salon. They also do amazing manicures and massages too. So you can literally get your hair done a massage and a manicure!! They always answer the phone and even take walk ins if they don’t already have appointments. Not to mention the enviornment is amazing!! They have beautiful plants and decor. I definitely will continue to come for years to come.

The service is always excellent. This is the best place to get your hair done.... probably ever. They're doing great things there. You'll ALWAYS leave satisfied.

I just moved to Summerville a few days ago, I’m going to visit family tomorrow and the phone number on Google wasn’t working so I decided to stop by and see if this professional looking place had any appointments available. My hair is super short, just needed my pixie cut touched up. Got there about 10:30 & wasn’t greeted very fast, they looked at me but continued standing there talking for a minute. I wouldn’t even bring that up or care typically except that they told me they could cut my hair at 12:00, I went grocery shopping & came back at 11:45. Was not greeted at all. One person was finishing up a cut and another was kind of just standing around. Neither of them spoke to me. They looked at me a couple times and for the remainder of the time I was there, just stood around. (No biggy, thinking maybe they’re having a rough day) but as I sat there longer I could tell the vibe of the whole place was kind of snooty. I felt a bit like an outcast. Anyway, 12:00 hits and I started to look around for the lady who said she would be able to give me a cut and I couldn’t see her, think she was in the back with another client. I waited 20 minutes after 12:00 and so at 12:20 she finally came and told me she was sorry and she was just finishing up. That was the first time I was spoken to. I said it’s okay and for the next few minutes I watched her cut a lady’s hair or finish cutting her hair and it was like there was no urgency at all. I didn’t have a lot of time to stay and wait, what probably would've been another 20 minutes so I told them I couldn’t wait any longer, she said sorry and I left. I usually leave really nice reviews. I left one bad review about 6 years ago. I just felt really disappointed and kind of embarrassed for having been ignored for so long. I’ve never been treated that way at a hair salon before. Maybe they have plenty of local customers and aren’t too worried about new ones. If you’re new to the town I wouldn’t recommend this place. Just feels uncomfortable and not very welcoming. Hate to leave a bad review but this experience really sucked. I will not be returning.

I just got my hair dyed there and I was both happy and sad about my hair. While it looked good it wasn't the color I wanted and I wasn't informed that she didn't have the color until after. So if you go make sure they have the color you want. I was in tears after I left but I still tipped 20$ cause she spent time doing my hair

Tina done my blonde and i absolutely love it, no brassy look, still so soft, took her time she definitely exceeded all my expectations and I will definitely be rebooking . The salon in general was very welcoming everyone seem to really enjoy one another’s company would recommend to anyone wanting their hair done!
