Ok so I just completed my 4th appointment with J. Marie and I am ready to give my review. On my first appointment I got my hair colored wash, cut, silk pressed. At first, I explain to her that I didn’t want a lift put in my hair for the color because when I let the Dominicans color it and they lifted my hair, my hair broke off. She was honest with me and told me that in order for me to achieve my color goal that she would have to put a little bit of lift in the color. She also stated that if I keep coming back regularly my hair will not break off and that she would take good care of my hair. Well all I can say is “SHE GOT THEM GROWING HANDS”!!! My hair is now healthy, growing, and no longer breaking off. I would give her a 10 star if allowed lol.

Clean and nice salon. Not sure what brand hair products this salon uses and I should’ve asked prior to making the appointment. I think my hair was done in a rush. Wide sections were done on my hair for a quick job when flat ironing and there was no bounce/ flow to my hair. Not sure if I’d go back if I do it will be for a trim only.Service: Hairstyling

Visited J. Marie Styles for the first time yesterday and had a fantastic experience. The salon was cute, clean and everyone was friendly. We've been wanting to try out this salon for a while. An I'm glad that we did. It reminds me of the way salons use to be. The salon was nice, cozy and clean. My daughter didn't wait long to go to the shampoo bowl. It took her 2 hours to get her hair done. Amazing the owner does great work at her craft.
