“I’m currently kind of new to Athens and was looking for a good place, I called in last minute for a haircut and they were able to get me in! I had Grace do my hair and she was very helpful and knowledgeable and used products on my hair that suited my hair and needs, and my haircut came out perfect just how I wanted it!:)“

“We visited this barbershop for the first time and booked with Alex based on his years of experience and what I saw on his Instagram. The shop itself was clean, the online booking process was simple, and Alex was punctual and professional, which I appreciated…. so I’m giving four stars.

That said, the haircut didn’t turn out the way we had hoped. I brought inspiration photos and clearly explained that we didn’t want a “mushroom” style, as my son prefers a more tousled, messy look. Unfortunately, after the cut, Alex used a round brush and hairdryer to style it in the exact way we were trying to avoid, curled under and very rounded.

Additionally, the fade was too high and not well blended, especially around the sides and behind the ears, where it extended oddly down toward the neck. It just wasn’t what we asked for, and it doesn’t suit my son’s style. I also asked that he leave his bangs long and his hair longer on top. When he started, my son had more than plenty of hair to do this. Unfortunately, Alex used a large guard to go over his scissor cut and he ended up boxing up my son’s bangs in the front.

Im a hairstylist myself, so I understand that mistakes happen. I did not argue the $50 charge and I still left a hefty tip. Only because I know that time is money and this is how we take care of our families.

We’ll have to let it grow out and find another barber for next time. A little disappointed, but hoping this feedback helps improve future experiences.

The first three photos are the inspo shown and the last photo is of my son’s haircut after we got home and restyled it to go foward and up as opposed to rolled under. My son said he will just have to rock it for now and is thankful we tried it out now and has some time to let his hair grow out before school starts back.“

“First time at Salon Corbeau, My stylists name is Lindsay. I would give her a 10 out of 10. Lindsay text me and asked me for a photo and color I preferred and to tell her about my hair & goals before my appointment. When I got there, we discussed that the color I chose may not be quite right because it was more of a platinum than a soft blonde, which wouldn’t agree with my skin tone, so, we decided on the soft blonde. She was totally right! She did the cut almost exactly like the picture and the high and low lights turned out awesome! Lindsay also told me all about products that would work for my hair to keep it nice and healthy. I felt like I was at a spa with the facial I received while having a deep conditioning done on my hair with a relaxing neck & head massage. I got the very best treatment you could expect. I was also notified of the make up artist they have there that would show you how to put on make up on. They also do lashes and spray tans. It was well worth the money, thank you for a remarkable day, it will make me look forward to my next appointment. Thank you for the great job you did Lindsay!“

“I went to this new salon (new for me) today in Winder and would never have found it without talking to Christine. So, definitely call or text. It is by appt. So you kind of have to. Christine did my hair, and Linda was there with her doing other ladies' hair. If you want a stylist who is totally honest and works with you to make you look your absolute best; Christine is the one to go to. I have the hardest time finding someone who works with my thinning, fine hair, and she is just amazing. I walked out of there feeling absolutely amazing. I found a Stylist to replace the last Stylist (owner) at Bombshell in Hoschton that I never thought I could replace. (She and her family moved), and I was at a loss. But Christine and Linda are professional but fun and kept me laughing half the time I was there. Very personable while still professional. I feel like a brand new me, thank you, Christine. See you in December.“

“Yesterday was my first visit to this salon. I had flown in from NJ for my mom’s 80th b’day party! STEPHANIE was my stylist. The theme of the party was from the movie “Grease”,/50’s!!! I had texted pictures to her of what I wanted my hair to look like as best it could. Stephanie knocked it out of the park! She really made my dream hair happen!
