took my two 5-month-old kittens to University Animal Hospital last week for their vaccines, and im very impressed.

Dr. Wolfe is super knowledgeable and really kind. I appreciate they let you go in the room with your pets after the exam. He was able to answer my questions and the services were very quick, there wasn't a long wait for my pets to be serviced.

Everyone there, from the front desk girls to the techs in the back, was so nice and friendly. They made me and the kittens feel welcomed, and didn't stress the cats out at all.

Im most impressed with their qucik responses even after they closed on Sunday, when I called with a couple of worries over the weekend. They got right back to me with helpful answers and made sure everything was okay. That kind of care means a lot to me since I was really worried about my cats getting their vaccines so late and I was scared of a bad reaction.

Prices were really reasonable too—way lower than any other place I checked around Statesboro. I felt like I got awesome care without paying an arm and a leg.

I can’t recommend University Animal Hospital and Dr. Wolfe enough if you want a vet who actually cares and doesn’t charge you a fortune.

We had to put our beloved pet to sleep a few days ago, and we were treated with dignity and respect. Shadow, our pet, eased treated humanely and the doctor and staff were professional and kind. The facilities were clean and safe for animals. The prices of services were good as well. If they show this much care to an animal that is passing away, I know they will show even more to those they can help. I will highly recommend their services.

I’ve used University for a few years now for several different dogs. They were so kind to me when I had an emergency and had to put my baby down. They gave me my time to grieve in their office and reassured me I was doing the right thing. Dr Wolfe is very straight forward but empathic at the same time. He talks to you like a friend instead of a doctor. The staff really care about these pets and are always friendly. They’ve always been able to squeeze me in for any emergency, and never made me feel like a burden. University is the absolute best, and I can’t say enough wonderful things about them.

Very good staff and vet! Dr.Wolfe was very sweet and patient with us. It was an emergency and we called ahead and let them know we were on our way and they were very nice! We got there and in under 3 minutes they took Freddie (my sisters mini dachshund) back and then a couple minutes later they call us back there and he’s asking all the questions to see what was going on and we tell him all the symptoms that he was having and he does a couple of test. He notices some things about freddie that was wrong and asked more questions. He gave freddie some medicine to see what would help and told us to come back @ 4:30. They call us at 3:30 and say we can come get him and the staff explains some stuff to us and then says we can talk to Dr.wolfe when we get there if we had more questions. We get there and they call us back there and we see that freddie is doing ten times better than when we left. He tells us what he gave him and that we can take him home and bring him back in the morning. Overall staff was Amazing and Dr.Wolfe is very passionate about his job and very caring. 10/10 recommend.

When I moved to Statesboro in 2020 I started taking my animals to Dr Wolfe. He seems like a great guy and a great vet. However my latest interaction has truly changed my mind. I made an appt to bring my declining senior dog (15 years)in to have him put to sleep. We we arrived no one at the front door counter said a word until the paperwork was placed in the counter for me to sign. We went back, Dr Wolfe immediately made me second guess my very heartbreaking decision by asking “ is this it or would you like to talk about it” ? Through my tears I explained the decision we had come to. He didn’t allow us to love on him while it was happening because “ it’s a very dangerous drug”. We brought a blanket in in hopes we could hold him during those last moments. That was not an option.I saw the fear in his eyes. We were given a very short amount of time to cuddle him before we were rushed out. I was told the would wrap him and put him in my car after I had already explained Paws n reflect would be coming to get him. Dr Wolfe then said “we have a service that will come get him and bring him back”. I chose not to use there service because I had no idea where he would go. Instead I chose a local business that gave options for memorial packages.Felt like a sales pitch in that very heartbreaking moment. I felt zero compassion from Dr. Wolfe that day. I really hope this is not Dr. Wolfes typical demeanor when helping families with a very hard decision but I was very disheartened that day.

If I could give no stars and make a review I would. You don't make a scene in the waiting room with a elder person and her dog. And and blurt out that your dog has cancer and we need to do surgery and make a scene whenever she ask you how much that's very unprofessional

I had to send my cat, Roxanne, to the Rainbow Bridge; She was 19 years old and dying. The staff were kind and professional, and didn't hurry me as I held her in my arms after she passed.
