In 2002, while at work, I complained to a co-worker about all of the embarrassingly bad haircuts I’d suffered since relocating to Atlanta. I vowed that I would never get my hair cut in Atlanta again. My co-worker took a look at my ridiculously long hair and handed me the name and number of her hair stylist. The name on the card was Derrick Thomas. The introduction changed everything! Sixteen years later and I am still in awe of Derrick’s talent and artistry. I marvel at his expert skills and creative vision. He is truly a master of his craft. The proof of which confirmed by the never-ending compliments I receive once I leave the salon. I trust Derrick explicitly with full creative control. He gets me! My visits to the salon have become family affairs at this point. Everyone there is extremely warm and super friendly. The atmosphere welcoming and inviting. I would highly recommend Derrick and the Wa’je Salon staff to anyone looking for an exceptional experience.
