I received a keratin treatment because a previous amino acid treatment that I had was not compatible with japanese hair straightening. I have thick, type 4 natural hair. I went to Baldem because I had seen a few reviews from people with my hair type and wanted to give the salon a try. Oh my god, I love my hair! It has been two weeks now and it has rained every day this week and my hair resisted humidity and held my hairstyle! I have never been able to have straight hair during the summer for the past 11 years. I get a lot of compliments on my hair and it is very soft. He gave me tons of advice on hair care and styling that I intend to follow.

i’ve had curly hair my whole life that has been pretty difficult to manage. about two years ago i looked into keratin and it helped with the frizz but not so much the texture. i tried japanese straightening at jade salon of atlanta and i absolutely loved it. just finished a touch up and it’s truly incredible how easy my hair is to maintain now.
