Dr. Lamothe is the real deal!!! I have been suffering from TMJ for 15 years. My everyday symptoms has been: migraines; vertigo; jaw, facial, neck and shoulder pain/ache; Jaw spasms; jaw deviation; nausea; sometimes nausea and vomiting; tinnitus; clogged ear; difficulty eating, opening and closing mouth and a slew of other things. I have seen numerous TMJ specialists, who I feel, have tried every treatment from: lidocaine and Botox injections in jaw and head, upper and lower mouth guard, medications such as amitriptyline, Aimovig, zofran, flexeril, Motrin, etc… TMJ physical therapy and massages, and the list goes on!! I am new to Georgia and I was referred to Dr. Lamothe. When I saw him, I was skeptical and truthfully didn’t even want to go because I had given up hope of anyone being able to help me but on my first visit, the exams and machines he used, I had never seen before and I started being hopeful. I have been wearing my appliance for 3 weeks now and it has changed my life. A lot of my symptoms are gone and those that aren’t only occurred 1-2 times a week. I feel like a new person because I can’t even remember life prior to TMJ. I am excited and optimistic that I might be symptom free one day but even if I am not, I’m just grateful and thankful for how I’m feeling now!! I’m a Nurse and I’ve been telling all my patients with TMJ about him!!!
