I was referred to Curltopia by a co-worker and I cannot thank her enough for introducing me to such a wonderful salon with a great group of stylists. When you arrive you're greeted with a smile and offered hot or cold beverages. The black and white decor is very stylist. My appointment was at 8:00AM. I arrived a little early to find that the shop was open and my stylist, Nova was waiting for me. I'm new to natural hair and Nova suggested a 2-strand twist. She explained that I could take the twists down after a week if I'd like and she showed me the proper way to untwist the hair to avoid putting stress on the ends. I was in desperate need of help with my hair. I did an online search and found Curltopia. I looked at their Instagram page and saw a number of posts with a certain curl pattern that I was looking for. The name “Nova” kept popping up. I immediately booked an appointment. I’m here now under the dryer and can tell you the service has been EXCEPTIONAL! We started on time (yay) and have been having a great time chatting. Nova is VERY personable! She also listened to the issues I noted with my scalp and was gentle with washing my hair. I will definitely be back! Thank you NOVA!
We had a great experience with Nova, my fiancé got her locs cut off and Nova did such a beautiful job and was so patient with us. The salon is beautiful and all of the other staff are professional and kind. We’ll definitely be back.
