Made my uggs look brand new and even cleaned the insides too! He completely removed the stains on my favorite beige Ugg clogs. They were in pretty rough shape when I dropped them off but looked amazing when I picked them up. I would definitely recommend!

First and foremost, finding a good cobbler nowadays is hard; finding a trustworthy one is even harder. When our favorite shop closed several months ago, we needed a new one, and with its convenient location, Village Shoe Repair fit the bill.

We needed the sole repaired on a single pair of female flats: nothing too challenging or elaborate, simply a sole replacement. After 10 days, the shoes were returned, repaired as promised, and visually, with good craftsmanship. Was it $60 worth, eh, I would say no. But supporting local businesses and a dwindling trade is worth it.

And, I’ll add a comment regarding the many reviews complaining about the customer service and bedside manner of the woman who runs the front counter. Listen, folks, you’re paying for a service and not for someone to treat you like your well-meaning therapist who is paid to cater to your varying moods. Be respectful, be kind, and ask reasonable questions; don’t attack people.

As the saying goes, if you run into one jerk, that person was probably a jerk. If you run into jerks all day, you’re probably the jerk.

Village Shoe Repair did an outstanding job restoring my old Johnston & Murphy shoes! The soles were so worn out that I couldn’t wear them in the rain without my feet getting soaked. The owner replaced them with high-quality soles, and the craftsmanship is excellent. My shoes feel like new again, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. Highly recommend their work!

Greedy business, poor workmanship. and NO SHAME !!!!

Took two boots to wax and shine. They just did the top and not polished around the bottom of the boots and charged us $50 !!!

Sold us a 25 cent ONE pair of shoe laces for $8.60 !! THREE pairs of same on Amazon is around $5 !!!

When confronted with such robbery they just made B.S. excuses and offered ZERO customer service. Business like this needs to be abandoned at all cost as they give other DECENT businesses a BAD NAME !!! Not sure why this business is not reported to Better Business Bureau
BBB . Exorbitant charges for extremely poor quality service and even worst customer service. Business like this use the excuse of inflation and yet they themselves RIP-OFF customers when they can. Wish I could give them ZERO stars !!!

**Decent Shoe Repair, but Customer Service Needs Improvement**

I’ve returned to this shoe repair shop a couple of times now, mostly because I haven’t found a better option nearby. However, while the quality of the shoe restoration has been acceptable, I do agree with others about the owner's lack of warmth and customer service.

During my first visit, I had to remind the owner about the price quote he had written down on my ticket stub, which was a bit frustrating. It’s also worth noting that I was charged extra for a shoe shine – something I don’t recall ever paying separately for when getting shoes restored elsewhere.

As long as my shoes continue to be restored to my satisfaction and there aren’t any unexpected price hikes, I can overlook the poor customer service for now. But if you’re looking for a more pleasant experience, this might not be the place. It’s more about the quality of the work than the overall service for me at this point.

This shoe repair shop is probably the worst one I've been to. They do not pay any attention to details, they do not even correctly fix the shoe the way you asked! They are sub par at best. I have the heels replaced on one pair along with the tips of the heels and the tips on another shoe replaced. For the amount they charged the shoe should be Looking at least in fair condition. They made no effort whatsoever to shine the shoes, buff, clean, anything! Even though there might be a slight language barrier, their customer service is still terrible. With a hammer and a new tap I could've really done this myself… completely disappointed.

Wow. I just picked up a pair of shoes I asked them to stretch because they were a little tight (a pair of leather sneakers). They are so comfortable now. Thanks so much!!!!

I wish I could give negative stars for the service I received with this shop.

    1. Did a very bad job by gluing and stitching one of the shoes in a very ugly way.
    2. Was very careless and the store manager don't care about customers opinions on final work.
    3. Ruined my shoes.
    4. Costly place to repair my shoes for the very bad work done.

Better not go to this place if you really want to repair your shoes and want to wear after the repair.
