This place is a scam with nothing but crooks that work there. My parents had a blower motor go out in their 12 year old unit and they told them there was no point in replacing it bc 10 years is about all you get out of a unit. Which is a lie, they offer 10 year warranties on new units.. they talked them into putting a $2000 deposit down on a new $10,000 unit. There is absolutely no way a new unit their size costs that much. Anyways, I replaced their $700 blower motor for them, took about 30 minutes and saved them $9300. I would not recommend North Ga Heating and Air to anyone. They will take advantage of you. STAY AWAY.

Chad came out and took care of me and my issue. I have an AC unit that is on its last legs, he was able to help me get into a new unit, and help me have something to hold me over in the mean time. Not only that, this company supports veterans, 10/10 recommend. It’s hard being a disabled vet with no income and they understand that.

I gave a one star because it's required to make a review. If I could give no stars I would cause the guy from this company tried to scam me. All I had was a loose screw, which was why my system was leaking small amounts of refrigerant. The north georgia employee tried to charge me over $2100 just to find the leak and was talking about thousands more to fix it when it was just a screw loose. ANYBODYS BEST BET IS GOING TO SOMEOME ELSE BESIDES THIS PLACE.

Have been a customer with N. Ga heat and air for about 11 years. We bought our unit from them and have always had good service with them. We had our system inspected every year and the last inspection showed that the heat exchanger had rusted through. Somewhat surprised as it had been inspected every year and nothing mentioned before and the warranty expired a year ago. The quote was quite expensive but the part was covered under warranty. The tech seemed genuine and was empathetic, and had brought this issue to the attention of his management. Had to wait for the part form the manufacturer; bit they came out to replace the part the same morning it was received at their shop. Jeremy and Cameron were super nice and they went above and beyond. The bill was a lot less than the quote. They didn’t have to. I was prepared to pay the quote amount, but they took responsibility when they didn’t have to to keep their company in a good relationship with me as a customer. I will continue to use N. Ga Heat and Air for all my HVAC needs.

Our technician was extremely rude. We opted to go with another company who came out and quoted 1/3 of the price. I was also quoted for 6 gallons of refrigerant and the unit doesn’t even hold that much and could have been cycled back through. Also, I was completely ignored when I asked about the thermostat that came with our unit they didn’t put in nor leave when the unit was installed 2 years ago. I’m shocked they would admit to the unit having a faulty piece of equipment built in to it and then proceed to over charge me for things I didn’t even need. Thankful I’m not an idiot bc there is no telling how many people have been overcharged.

N GA did a fabulous job replacing our 30+ year old Trane system! Bryan was very thorough and patient in inspecting the existing 5 ton system, listening to our needs and proposing suitable options. Daniel and Joe were very thorough in the installation and explained the operation of the system well. And they operated the new system and addressed any concerns (new sounds) before leaving.
