About Cooper Lighting Solutions
Cooper Lighting Solutions is a business with a shipping and receiving facility. To arrive, take Highway 74 to Cooper Circle. The truck entrance requires turning at the traffic light, with the shipping entrance around the back right side of the building. Some drivers note that signage directing to the shipping department could be improved and suggest more or bigger signs. The facility operates 24/7 for drop and hook loads but does not allow overnight parking. The yard has good lighting and plenty of paved maneuvering space. The check-in process at the gate is quick. The shipping and receiving office is in the middle of the complex and has a clean bathroom. Staff members are consistently described as friendly, fantastic, and helpful, with efficient loading and unloading often completed in less than an hour. Safety protocols require wearing a safety vest on the property and having the engine off while getting loaded at the dock. For picking up empties, drivers must go to the back where the driveway is very narrow and dirt. This area can become wet and muddy, with a possibility of getting stuck. The company's products, such as Halo Lights, are noted as stylish, user-friendly, and awesome. Overall, the company cares about making things right.
Make your way to hwy 74, then turn south at the traffic light for Cooper Cir to get to the truck entrance. They will want you to wear a safety vest while on the property. Check in was quick and they started loading the trailer as soon as I bumped to the dock. You will need to have your engine off while getting loaded. If you don't want to shut off your engine, then you will need to disconnect from your trailer during the loading process. No complaints.
OTR: 24/7 Drop and Hook. No overnight parking. Turn right at light from hwy 74. Shipping and Receiving office turn left at 3rd entry. Check in at the gate. S&R office in middle. Has a clean bathroom. Good lighting and plenty of maneuvering space in paved yard. To pick up Empty, go to back, very narrow driveway, and dirt. If wet and muddy, there is a possibility of getting stuck. Staff is friendly.
you’d think a company this big would invest more than pocket change in proper signage that points to the shipping and receiving dept. Their sign on the corner of Highway 74 and Cooper Circle literally looks like it was made by a 10 year old with materials leftover from a school project. What a shame!
From Atlanta- Take 85 South to Peachtree City exit 61. Turn left off the exit ramp. This becomes Highway 74. Go approx. 13 miles until you’re at the intersection of Highway 74 and Cooper Circle, turn right on Cooper Circle, go down about a quarter of a mile and the road going to the guard shack is on the left (drawn as a red box in the attached photo).
