Great! Our cat is extremely anxious. At our previous vet, they said he was too “aggressive” to handle and noted he had a fever, but they wouldn’t run any tests because they were afraid. This clinic, on the other hand, had us in and out in 30 minutes, let him roam freely, and created a calm, low-stress environment. Was able to determine the mild fever was only because of stress. We will be back!

I visited Oakwood animal hospital (Dosha and Dr. Rogers) with our 2 new girl kittens. What a super group of people with just the right amount of love! I’m happy to know that we found this practice and I feel good knowing we found a good place to take our babies

Michi is my best friend and the head of pest control at our homestead.
After noticing him limping one night, I brought him inside and called around. Oakwood Animal Hospital was kind enough to squeeze us in at 8 a.m.
Dr. Kathleen is an amazing individual and the team is incredible. She examined Michi thoroughly and discovered that his paw pad was injured. She cleaned the wound, shaved the area as best she could, and sent us home with gauze and cleaner.
Michi is now recovering, and we can’t wait to schedule a routine checkup here. Highly grateful for the care and compassion shown to us.

I was the one that chose this place for our babies. Oh boy did I choose wrong. All they did was constantly push vaccinations always up selling us, but we finally got me was when I brought my dog in for a consultation to get fixed and the doctor told me my ex L bully was too fat at 100 pounds to do the surgery. They didn’t take the time to even say hey to the dog I spent a total of two minutes, trying to examine her and then asked me if they could bring her to the back so they can manhandle my dog. One of the helpers with black long curly hair told me I was killing my dog by not feeding her grains. Little did she know we do they wanted to put her on a special diet that cost a lot more. I went to check out and the lady come running out yelling stating my partner never paid the bill for four months. That was a lie and totally unnecessary and rude. We have given this establishment way too much money to be treated this way. There’s always a different doctor. I’ve never seen the same one. It’s really sad. I feel for anyone that brings their animals to this facility.

We have used Oakwood Animal Hospital since we brought both of our Boston Terriers home to be ours as babies- They have always taken such good care of them. Last year our male developed aggression issues & the male vet (i apologize i can not remb his name) has been so helpful, recommending different ways to treat him. Our boy is definitely a handful when I take him in but the vet tech Michelle is ALWAYS so kind & especially patient w/him. I appreciate everything they do.

We love Dr Porter, the vet techs & front office staff! They’re all professional, knowledgeable & compassionate. They always squeeze us in for any concern we have about our senior poodle or Maltese.

I’ve taken my cat Toby to Oakwood Animal Hospital a few times now, and every visit has been great. Dr. Porter is always so thorough and takes his time to explain everything. The staff is also super friendly and so nice every time we come in. Scheduling appointments is easy, and their whole staff is really knowledgeable. Definitely a place I trust to care for my cat!

I have used another vet in the area for years. Started having issues with him and my sister recommended Oakwood. Well, I am SSSOOOO happy she did!!!! Absolutely love these guys!! So caring, thoughtful and honest. All my animals will be coming here from now on. Thank you Oakwood Animal!!!!

Drs and staff are great. The office area is clean, and it feels like a caring environment. Even the resident cat is friendly and welcoming. Fees are incredibly reasonable. Best vet we've had in 30 years. We have 2 cats.

We have been coming to Oakwood Animal Hospital for over 6 years now. I only have good things to say about this place. From the front desk associates to vet techs and vets themselves, they are all so kind and helpful. We had to put our 17 year old Morgan to sleep last year and it was one of the hardest things I had to go thru and Dr. Porter and the staff was so compassionate and took the time to let me hold our baby during the entire time I was there. I now have 2 more puppies and Dr. Porter has taken care of both of them as well. I just had Coco spayed yesterday and again, it was a very smooth process and I like that I get a call updating me from the actual vet. Very reassuring. The vet tech ( I forget her name) brought my fur baby out to me carrying her like a baby. She doesn’t even allow me to carry her like that. I can only say, if you need a good veterinarian office, give them a call. You won’t regret it.
