Very friendly. My daughter was getting her hair braided in the shop next door so at the last minute I decided to get my hair done while I was waiting for her. I came in as a walk in and they took care of me right away. After my wash and deep condition, Kayla blow dried my hair, flat ironed it, and gave it a trim. It looked beautiful!! I got so many compliments. Very reasonable prices and I was done in under 2 hours. I will go back again.
Dominican ladies have expert hair dressing services for diverse women BUT old school practices re the blow out and straightening. If you have or want cutting edge Afro hairstyling this is not the place. Best shampoo and deep conditioning ever on the plus side. That silky blow hair makes for a nice change ! But oh boy- seriously scorched my hair. Glad to get back to my completely curly Afro texture. Works for me. Ciao ladies.
I tried this place after following my previous stylist for over 15 years to 3 different cities and traveling over 1.5hrs to her new salon. I left my old stylist because her hours became i consistent and with her trying to build her new customer base, the care and time that she once showed to my hair also became inconsistent. I travel still over an hour to Lily’s weekly for the last 3 months and am 100% satisfied with the care that I receive. Kayla is an amazing stylist. She cares for her clients wellbeing, their hair and really wants you to be happy when you walk away.
