I cannot say enough good things about this office. We started going here a year ago when we added a new puppy to our home and were just over the corporate aspects of our previous vet (btw the majority of the vet hospitals in Perry/wr are now owned by one corporate or the other). We loved the vets and staff at those places, but there were too many negatives because of the corporate policies. Macon Co checks all the boxes for us. The staff is knowledgeable and caring, the office is accessible and accommodating (appointments aren’t booked out weeks in advance), and they don’t squeeze every penny out of you that they can. We live an hour away from this veterinarian office and feel like it is beyond worth the drive. I have a 110 lb pitbull and a very sassy 15 lb Boston terrier. Our pitbull is very friendly and has never given a vet a problem. We tried multiple vets in Warner Robins for him and all automatically labeled him as aggressive. He broke his leg a couple years ago and the vet in WR tried to say it was going to be a $6000 surgery and would need rods and pins put in his leg. Luckily we found this place, Macon County Veterinary Hospital and they treated him the way he needed. The staff were all exceptional with him and immediately loved his sweetness. Great place to take your pets for their care and needs. They took care of all four of our cats, mama cat and three kittens and they are doing great. Thanks to the staff at Macon County veterinary.
