“After trying out many different MMA clubs, True Strength MMA is hand down the best one. Coach Victor and his team really care about the students and they plan their lessons very well. The Muay Thai classes are offered several times a week and what I really like about them is that the lessons are different each time, focusing on conditioning and variations of fighting techniques. I really enjoy their classes.“

“This is an outstanding Martial Arts studio. Mr. Ross and Mr. Croom are amazing. You not only learn martial arts but respect and focus as well. My son is autistic. They push him to stay focused in a positive manner. He is in Black Belt Training where you can learn nun chucks, coli stick, staff, and more. Mr. Ross is a Master on the nun chucks and also studied in Korea for 3 years. Would 100% recommend not only for the martial arts but also for the mental toughness that they instill and real life scenarios that they invoke so you know to react. They, also, make it really fun! Can't say enough positive things about this place!“

“This review is very long overdue! My wife and I began training at Tiger Academy way back in 2007 when it was in the plaza on Holcomb Bridge Rd. just east of 400. Although MMA had been growing since the mid90s, it wasn't nearly as popular as it is now, and at the time Tiger Academy was one of the first and only Gracie-endorsed Jiu-Jitsu schools to open in metro Atlanta. In fact, Helio Gracie (RIP), the patriarch of Gracie Jiu-Jitsu did a book-signing there. The quality instruction drew everyone from Navy Seals, to law enforcement, to bouncers, to housewives, to regular students (some of whom drove from as far as Clayton County three times each week for evening lessons!). My wife and I learned a lot while training, practicing and rolling after class under the supervision and coaching of Sifu Eddie and his talented instructors. But what we also really appreciated was the emphasis on critical thinking, situational awareness, and de-escalation over confrontation whenever possible. We liked that so much that we signed our then 7th grader up, and later when our youngest child got to 7th grade we enrolled her at Tiger Academy too. We have since referred several friends, neighbors, and coworkers, many of whom have had one or more subpar experiences at other martial arts businesses. The ones who sign up at Tiger Academy always report positive experiences. Don't take my word for it. Tiger Academy has always offered a week of free classes to see if it's a good fit. Thank me later.“

“My 15 year old son has begun martial arts training at Lee Family Martial Arts. He is learning to be respectful and self controlled. He loves that he can learn to use weapons in a responsible way. What teenage boy wouldn't? There is a great mix of kids there and the parents are very proud of them. Mr Lee and his wife offer an engaging, encouraging and challenging arena for children to learn weapons & martial arts“

“We had a fantastic experience with Karate Atlanta Roswell for our daughter. She joined the leadership program when she was 6 to help build confidence and it did that and a whole lot more at a time when we struggled to find an activity that she was willing to try. Master Poole, the instructors, and Mrs. Jones are exceptional. The classes run smoothly no matter how many kids are in attendance. Master Poole is funny and very encouraging. He calls on each kid by name which is impressive, always pointing out the positives and allowing the kids to be role models for others. Mrs. Jones is available to answer any questions and the karate app made it easy to order gear and/or sign up for testing days on my phone. There was some flexibility with class times/days to attend and that was very helpful. We were with the program for 15 months and I can only think of positive things to say about it. We are grateful for what it did for our daughter and only stopped because she met her personal goal of getting her purple belt and wanted to stop in order to try some new things.“
