I had my first haircut with Kelvin at Refugio Barber Studio, and I’m officially done searching—this is my spot from now on. Kelvin was fantastic: super friendly, took his time, and paid close attention to detail. The studio has a great atmosphere, and I felt relaxed and well taken care of throughout.
I’ve tried a few barbers in the area, but none quite nailed the cut the way I wanted—until now. Kelvin got it exactly right. Highly recommend him if you’re looking for someone who really listens and delivers. I’ll be back for every cut!
Let me start by saying this was my first time ever going to an actual barber shop. While there was a language barrier between myself and Johan (who doesn't look to be a day over 25)I cannot give home enough props. I had long hair for a guy and was looking for a change of pace. Came in sat down showed him a pic of what I wanted and got WAY more than I expected. I was so impressed with the experience I booked another appointment with him to get trimmed and cleaned up in 2 weeks. Will definitely be going back for future cuts.
Kelvin is a great barber. I walked in off the street and I was fortunate to get him as my barber. I’m 61 years young and he gave me the best cut I’ve had in many a decade. I live in MD and I happened upon this barber shop. I’m working in GA and I will go out of my way to go back!
