I earned a black belt in Tae Kwon Do as a teenager, but as the constraints of college, career and family began to appear, I lost touch with the art. However, thinking back on how meaningful martial arts was to me, and how great it was for stress release and confidence, I decided to restart my training last year after a 36-year break. After spending the last year at Into Arts, I can say this was one of the best decisions of the last several decades of my life. One of the first things that stood out to me is the way that I was greeted and welcomed by everyone. I received patient instruction as I regained my skills, now as an older adult. This school has a really vibrant sense of belonging and I feel more connected to the local community. I have met people I would have never met otherwise. I also really like the focus on self-defense, and Master Lawing's extensive experience is a major attraction.

We’ve had such a wonderful experience at Into Arts Martial Arts Center!
Master Daniel Lawing and his instructors are top-notch and provide a healthy and supportive environment. The teachers are skilled, dedicated, and take time to ensure every student understands the techniques. It’s a great balance of discipline, fitness, and self-improvement.
You can tell that Master Lawing, Cindy and his staff truly care about each student’s growth and not just in Tae Kwon Do (or Brazilian Ju Jitsu) but in confidence, focus, and respect. The classes are well-structured, energetic, and fun.
Highly recommend to anyone looking for a positive, family-friendly martial arts school! Recommend signing up with a buddy.

My son loves the martial arts program here. Classes are diverse, and they focus on physical, mental, competition, and life lessons. They even have a discipline/repect aspect to them. The instructors are well-rounded, fair, and truly love what they do. I love the flexibility and schedule offered, unlike other facilities I consider. And the best part is that the kids all support each other in a roundabout way as they grow together.

I’ve been taking classes at Into Arts for 6 years now and I wouldn’t dream of going anywhere else. Master Lawing is a great instructor and really knows his stuff. I particularly appreciate the non-competitive atmosphere!

Very respectful and more old school with a twist of new! The kids just attended the first belt form test! This is our forever home for Martial Arts! Teaches kids to be respectful and to protect theirselves when needed. Also has adult classes!

Excellent program. Instructor really cares about the success of his students. Group setting, but a lot of attention to each student, so it feels like individual instruction.
