I locked my keys in my car and I called a locksmith that told me he would be there in 20 minutes. I asked them how much it would cost, and they told me that they didn’t know. They told me there would be a $35 service call and the unlocked fee was $35 and up, depending on what they had to do. When the technician arrived two hours later, he told me it was gonna be $225. I said what $225 you told me 35 and up but you didn’t say it was gonna be nothing near that and I told him I wouldn’t pay $225 to have my car unlocked he said I still owed him the $35 for coming out if I wasn’t gonna pay him to unlock the car so I gave him his $35 and sent him on the way then I called Cobb parkway Locksmiths and they told me they would be there in 20 minutes then they told me the price over the phone and I agreed that it was reasonable to come unlock it the technician showed up in 12 minutes very fast very prompt. Had my car unlocked in five minutes. And then I was on my way home. I will never call one of these Locksmith services that won’t give me a price upfront again. It’s a scam when they give you these starting price is just so they can gouge you at the end.
