The staff were very rude and unprofessional. My sister and I called this place to see if we could get a price of how much it would be to have our two 2 month old puppies to be seen for being de-wormed and other exams that follow along with it. We were told to come in and they would give us a price there. After we came in, the two ladies at the front desk were very rude, telling us in a nasty tone to take the dogs outside. After we were there for a bit, a lady (what I assume was the doctor, possibly vet tech) gave us a price of how much it’d be for the initial exam and the process for deworming plus other exams etc, I told the lady I didn’t have all of it right then and was then told “I don’t know what you want me to do about it” in the most disrespectful tone. This place doesn’t even deserve one star. We then took our puppies to Northside Wesleyan Animal Hospital and were given half the price of what this place wanted for both puppies, seen fast and the puppies were given what they need within 20-30 minutes.

They don't even deserve one star. I saw two different doctors. The first one did not handle my pet with care, not securing him properly while she administered his medicine. She did not want to offer any of her own suggestions past the most extreme without seeing his patient history complete with doctor's notes, which staff should have requested before my appointment. I did bring my own comprehensive records that they added to my pet's file. The staff member I spoke to after the first appointment told me she would request those records. At the second appointment, my pet was mishandled again, not securing him properly while he was weighed. The second doctor made a big show about not having any prior knowledge or notes about my pet. When I displayed my anger and frustration at this blatant show of lack in preparation for my appointment, she attacked my display of emotion instead of apologizing for she and the staff not doing their jobs. She proceeded to make me out to be the problem, made it clear I could leave, and walked out of the room. My pet depends on that medicine on a frequent basis. I was able to take him elsewhere, but I am still looking for a more sustainable solution. That is hands down the worst, most bizarre, and most psychotic vet experience I have ever had.

This place is disorganized and unprofessional. I took my dog here in March and made a follow up appointment for her 3 week booster. The evening before the office called a canceled the appointment and told me I didn’t need an appointment that I could come in anytime. I brought my dog in and the front desk staff was rude that I didn’t have an appointment and “she didn’t know who told me that”. I had to wait for a very long time in the lobby with my dog, 1 year old and 2 year old in tow.

After waiting for over an hour I followed up again with how much longer this would be. The receptionist was rude and snapped again that I should have made an appointment. She went in the back and came back out with a tech that stabbed my dog with the injection in the waiting room. No gloves, no confirming with me that it was the right injection, just “you can go now”.

I asked for the doctor to call me, and that I would not be taking my animals here anymore.

Later, I get a call saying I owed money for the visit! What visit? You literally stabbed my dog in the waiting room. My dog developed irritation at the injection site and to this day I really don’t even know if they gave her the right thing or not.

Today, I tried to get the vet records transferred to the new vet I now take my animals to and they refused without a payment for “the visit”. I asked to speak to the doctor and that same receptionist refused. This place is terrible. It is a longer drive but Gadd’s in Gray GA is SO MUCH BETTER!

Our bunny has been going to this vet since we got him. When he got sick we were told the vet would not see him. We had to go elsewhere. We were not given any help or any discussion to help us understand what was happening. If they couldn't see him when ill, it should have been made clear before a problem came up. If your exotic pet has an issue, they will not see them. Our bunny had an upper respiratory infection.

Dr. Brown, Gilbert, and the staff here are great! My dog Mason tends to be very protective, and doesn't always warm up to strangers easily, but Dr. Brown was very understanding. She advised on a new treatment option for Mason's allergies, as well as advised on surgery to fix a hemotoma Mason had on his ear. I would also like to mention, the cost is very transparent; I was provided a quote each step of the way for all services to be performed. I would highly recommend Dr. Brown and the staff and Plantation Centre Animal Hospital!
