This post is going out to Cleopatra hair salon on Zebulon rd in Walmart for transforming this orange monstrosity into a cinnamon delight.. worthy of stepping out for a night on the town.. my nightmare began when I trusted Lisa at "Changes"... hair salon on Zineville Ave.. a change indeed.. she changed my hopes in believing that anyone can do hair.. when I asked her would she be able to do my hair being that I was black and her clientele was primarily white.. She simply replied " HAIR is HAIR honey!"... well that's not true at all.. I asked her to do my hair.. Came here 3 times while I was doing training in Perry, GA. If you're at the Guardian Center it will take you 5 minutes to drive here and the barbershop is located in the Walmart. Go thru the grocery entrance and make a right once you enter. I would definitely call first a day prior to make an appointment if you can. I posted 2 pictures of the barbers cards. I would stick to those two. I got a haircut by a third barber once And he was okay but he kept messing up the fade I wanted and correcting. Also it could be just the verbiage but I eventually had to just show him a picture but I would do that from the jump especially if your hair is uncommon. MY HAIR IS UNCOMMON in this area 0: Lamar (Chi-town) is good 773-590-6090 & Gary is probably the best in there 478-972-3988 If you want them to use a straight razor make sure you mention it. I guess that's not a common thing in the south. I only gave 4 stars because it said they were open on Sunday and they definitely were not open. Georgia is a religious state so almost everything is closed on Sunday just a FYI.
Impromptu visit here with my mother. We were headed towards the exit at Walmart when approached by, Deon, one of the barbers. My mother let him cut her hair as she was due for a trip to the barbershop anyway and he did a great job. Deon was fast and efficient. He listened to how she wanted her hair cut and made suggestions on what would work best. She loves her new cut! Would definitely recommend this place. He advised they have stylist and braider too.
