The stylists are incredibly skilled, precise, and friendly, making the whole braiding process comfortable. The shop is clean, inviting, and runs on time, with reasonable prices for excellent work. I left with beautiful and durable braids.

Now if you don’t care about customer service then I say go ahead because my hair is super cute they did it really fast but they were so rude from the moment I walked in. They didn’t say anything rude but their body language and energy just gave they didn’t want to be there and as a business you should please your customers if you want to keep your business running. Not to mention I didn’t get greeted and when I left the lady just looked at me like she was happy for me to leave.

I was told about this place by my coworker. For 3 days I was texting the owner not knowing she was even the owner. I texted her the picture of the hairstyle told her I wanted micro knotless kinky twist with Afro kinky human hair. She told me $270 which I thought was very reasonable. Considering the hair itself cost me $500. I prepared the hair so that we save time. the day before the style I confirmed that I would be coming in the morning. That’s when she informed me that they open from 6am to 5pm. She never told me that it was walk in no appointment until the day before. Nevertheless I got at the shop at 6am. When it was my turn the girl said she does it do twist. The second girl said she does not do knotless. They called Fatou that’s when I found out she was the owner. I waited until 8:30am before she got there and she’s telling me that they have never done it before in knotless and that because my edges was thin it’s not going to be neat. Basically she didn’t want to do. She even tried to tell me , she never said she’s able to do the hairstyle until I pulled out my text messages to show her. They are very unprofessional. They she said in French she’s tired of this not knowing. I spoke French. They stand there and talk shit about their customers. It’s really terrible. I’m African and I would not support them. I ended up leaving. Wasted my time and energy.

Overall I love my hair and appreciate the lady who ask me to come back inside when there was a misunderstanding. However you never know what language people can pick up. The young pregnant lady was upset about me using 1B and my hair was short. My natural hair was short but that wasn’t the issue I have. The issue I have is that she called my hair ugly because of the bright color she couldn’t blend with the 1B. I already planned out what I was going to do with my hair afterwards. Sorry ladies, but that did rub me the wrong way and body language says it all. Thank you so much to lady who was able to grip my hair in the back. A can of spray can go a long way😁

I went two weeks ago for some bobo braids and they look like I’ve had them in for over two months. I don’t recommend letting the owner the lady with the glasses and head wrap do you hair. To slow and she can’t braid. It looks like my 7 years old did my hair.

I went in for some Boho Braids. I asked several times do they have human hair and they said yes. While installing I asked if this hair was human hair. To no avail both the braiding hair and the hair used to make the waves for the boho were synthic. The loose hair became matted after 24 hours. Nothing will make the hair not tangle. Wasted my money. I just took this pic and now it has been 50 Hours SMH. Really wish they had a Zero Star option

I love this place.I have been to a lot of braid shops with my daughters and by far this is the Best one..When you walk in the atmosphere is friendly and they speak..The Braider that did my daughter hair was Excellent!I showed her a picture and she did it the same way!I highly recommend!

I had my hair braided at Assai and they did a Fantastic job.The hair braiders were very friendly, fast, and professional. When it comes to getting your hair done right and in a timely manner, you can definitely rely on Assai African Hair Braiding.

I went in today for half feed-in with half knotless braids. I am so satisfied with the customer service; & the timely manner they completed the service. I arrived at 2:00 pm & my hair service was completed at 3:45 pm. Very satisfied customer!!!!
