My appointment was scheduled for 10:00 AM, and I arrived early at 9:30 AM. I was not taken back to a room until almost 11:20 AM, and after waiting nearly two hours, my experience only got worse.
I explained to the doctor that my tooth was now throbbing and hurting after she examined it, and that it was not hurting like this before I came in. Her response was essentially, “There’s no abscess, so I don’t know why it’s hurting. Take some ibuprofen.” I felt completely dismissed and unheard.
I then asked what I was supposed to do about the tooth, and she told me I needed a full work-up before an extraction and would have to make another appointment. After already waiting two weeks for this appointment and spending nearly three hours in the office, that was incredibly frustrating.
When I pointed out that I had not been “squeezed in as an emergency,” because I had waited two weeks to be seen, she reluctantly said she would “see what she could do.” I was then sent back to the lobby to wait another 20 minutes to see if another patient showed up. That patient never came in, yet I was told they did—even though I was sitting in the lobby where patients check in.
By this point, I was in tears, asking what I was supposed to do after waiting weeks for help. I left feeling dismissed, misled, and still in pain. The lack of compassion, communication, and professionalism was extremely disappointing. I would not recommend this office based on my experience.

I have been going to Perfect Portrait Family Dentistry for many years. They are like Family to me. What could be better than having a Dentist and Hygentist in your Family. I love going there. They have done an amazing job caring for my Dental and oral hygiene. I highly recommend them.

Dentist is great but time I take pride in meaning if my appointment is at 10 then I should be in room and things should be set up and ready to go because two hours visit to me is kind of extreme

I am very disappointed about the treatment that I received from this office. In 2022 I needed to have a tooth filled but Dr. Gwynn said that it would be better to have a Root Canal done so I agreed. Dr. Gwynn did the Root Canal which was suppose to last for a long time or at least a good while. Well in just about not quite 2 years the crown fell off. Of course Dr. Gwynn said that I probably bit down on something hard which was not true. Anyway I have this hole in my mouth and my insurance said because of her negligence they cannot do anything about having that area redone. She says now that I need an implant but my insurance doesn’t cover an implant. So now I have to come out of my pocket to have an implant done. Dr. Gwynn does not stand behind her work! If I had gotten my tooth filled I wouldn’t have had this problem. I have new insurance but I will not be going back to get anything done there. Dr. Gwynn is a nice person and her staff is nice but negligence is a totally unacceptable thing.

Wish I could give zero stars of course I never did hear back from the office manager regarding an appointment after pending 100 for nothing. Please do not waste your money or time this place. They would just take your money and refer you out somewhere else they don't care.

I have been trying to get a cleaning and x-rays done since the BEGINNING OF MAY. They scheduled me far out which I guess isn’t a huge issue except they have now rescheduled twice!!!!! My original appointment was for July 8 then they called and changed it to July 22nd. Very annoying but whatever it happens. Then a few days before my appointment they call me again to reschedule claiming they don’t have a hygienist again. Might as well just shut down at this point if you can’t see patients ever. I could’ve made an appointment and gotten my teeth cleaned/xrayed/fixed by now. I also have an appointment to get a cavity filled which was a tooth emergency because of tooth pain and they looked at it, told me it was pretty bad and that I needed to have it fixed asap…. Then they scheduled me to have it fixed in 3 months. Yes I still have a hole. And yes it still hurts. 10/10 DO NOT recommend. All they do is waste your time. No wonder some lady was yelling at them at my first appointment. I understand now.
