I cannot recommend Shariyfa enough for instant locs! From start to finish, the experience was incredible.
Before we even started, she was so patient and thorough in answering all of my questions. She was incredibly accommodating during our consultation, making sure I felt comfortable and informed before moving forward.
The installation process is definitely a labor of love and takes some time, but Shariyfa’s attention to detail is unmatched—she gave me the exact size I was looking for! She also made the long session fly by with her hospitality; I was even served delicious chai tea while she worked.
Aside from the locs themselves, the hair wash was easily the most relaxing part of the entire appointment. If you’re looking for someone professional, patient, and highly skilled, go to Shariyfa. Check out my photos to see how they turned out—I’m obsessed!

Divine alignment. That is all I can say about finding this five star hair salon. I have been looking for the right salon to take my little girl to for the last two years to start her locks, but have never been able to spiritually find the right spot but my heart led me to the right direction when it came to this holistic salon. My daughter‘s Loctician was extremely understanding, patient kind and gentle and knows exactly what she’s doing in the lock game. My daughter spent the day at the salon and has been walking around with the self-esteem. I’ve never seen and hurt before in her nine years of life since locing her hair and it’s just been so much easier mentally physically, and emotionally on me not having to worry about the daily management of her tight curls, but now embracing her beautiful locks she has been doing her own hair now for the last few days and it’s been so fun to watch her embrace her natural reality and her melanin ❤️❤️❤️❤️ She can’t wait to come back for her wash and maintenance! Thank you so much blossom hair salon and the inside is absolutely beautiful and clean 💛

I want to start off saying my experience was Amazing!! I’m so glad Donald recommended Shariyfa to me because she did an amazing job on mine and my daughters’s hair. She has a great vibe and excellent customer service. She took her time and made sure we were involved in the process and was comfortable the whole time. The shop has a very chill and calming vibe, especially the shampoo, I felt like I was in a mediation session. If I could give this a 10/10 I would. Shariyfa definitely got 2 new regular clients to keep coming back.

Blossoming Coils was wonderful. The energy of the salon is very welcoming and calming holistically. Shariyfa was very professional and personable making me feel at ease with getting interloc’ed for the first time. Her wash routine is amazing and you can tell comfort is prioritized here. She was gentle with my hair and concerned with the healthy and vitality of my locs which is very important to me. All in all it was a great experience with fair prices for the treatment you get. I highly recommend and will be a returning consistently.

I had been looking for a new color loctician and came across blossoming coils months ago. I finally scheduled an appointment Monday 11/24/25 for a color consultation for today Saturday 11/29/25 for 9:30am to 9:45am. At exactly 9:30 as I am pulling up to the salon, I get a call asking if I was coming to the salon or doing a video call. I said I’m pulling up to the salon and was told the loctician was not there and asked if a video call would work. I stated yes, assuming I would get a call within the scheduled window but that did not happen. At 9:53am I received a call in which Sharifa stated she would face time me. She called and we got disconnected and no one attempted to call me back. I was already disappointed with the lack of professionalism to begin with but was willing to give a second chance but again they disappointed and wasted my time. The had several days to contact me to inform me if they preferred a video call, even if they would have given me a call 30 minutes before my scheduled time I would have appreciated that but to call someone at their exact scheduled time to express last minute changes from in person to video shows that they do not value other people’s time.

Absolutely a great experience! Shariyfa and her team made my vision come true with my new hair journey. I love the cut and style 💯! The ambiance in the salon was very peaceful and relaxing. Meditation music was played during my wash, along with dimmed lighting. Whatever shampoo/condition was used made my head tingly and felt immaculate lol. I truly had a great experience, I highly recommend and will be back. Thank you!
