I am here to use this social media forum to give a BIG thank you to Azalea and to share our story and why I highly recommend them. My father has a very unique medical condition called PSP, which stands for super nuclear palsy. His symptoms range from imbalance, inability to walk on his own, confusion, difficulty with speaking, and difficulty with eating on his own and swallowing just to name a few. He requires extreme care and attention – basically someone needs to be along his side at all times. Over the past couple of years we have been going thru a number of different companies that provide home care help but we were having so much trouble securing reliable caregivers and caregivers that could do the job properly. And in some cases, the folks who operate these companies just wouldn’t give us the time of day and things were very taxing and me and my family. I am happy to say the situation at home has completely changed now that we have started our services with Azalea Home Care. We came into contact with them a couple of weeks back at a time when we were desperate. We had just canceled our services with the previous company we were using at the time because we were fed up with their practices and their inability to provide reliable, trustable care and my mom and I were doing our best to handle my dad on our own until we figured things out. Upon contact, the folks at Azalea immediately got the ball rolling. They came to the house to meet us one on one and to evaluate my dad and get all the specifics on him and the requirements we had for a caregiver. Azalea then did their due diligence and began interviewing a number of caregivers in their network to pin point the right person(s) that would fit our needs and my father’s specific needs. Within just a matter of days, they were able to secure a care giver for us and she started immediately and has been with us for about a week and a half. She is more than we could have asked for…..by far one of the best caregivers we have come across. Not only is she qualified and experienced, but she comes with such a loving and caring attitude each day. Azalea’s work was not done there however as we required help 7 days a week, they needed to find one more caregiver to split the week up. And after just a few more days passed, they were able to secure another highly qualified and reliable caregiver for us. After a difficult and stressful couple of months, I can honestly say that my family is in a better place now that we have engaged with Azalea…..knowing we have such a reliable, trustable company and such wonderful caregivers looking after my parents has made a World of difference.
