Sorry not sorry had to be posted here since the owner likes flagging it and having his pawns spamming reviews to make sure nobody sees it. It’s not normal for a business to have a perfect 5 star review here are the major red flags.
I have been tanning at 24 Tahiti off and on for over four years, and for the longest time I thought I was the reason I couldn’t tan properly, but I realized it was the salon the whole time. I mainly used this location because it was closer to my house.
The only upside is that they’re open 24 hours, which is convenient. Unfortunately, several tanning beds are out of order, and the ones that do work either produce little to no results or cause irritation, like skin rashes or burning. A few months ago, I walked in and it was over 80 degrees inside—literally a tanning sauna. Georgia gets extremely hot during the spring and summer, so walking into a tanning salon with no proper air conditioning was honestly miserable and uncomfortable… and cheap. I asked one of the girls at the desk—can’t remember her name, but she was friendly—and she gave me an embarrassed look, like they were “working on it.” A couple of weeks later, they added a few ceiling fans, but all they did was blow hot air around. No real improvement.
Another issue was the way sessions were handled. My sessions suddenly expired without me ever being warned, and the only solution offered was buying another expensive package—for beds that already barely worked. On top of that, you have to pay extra for 24-hour access, but the fingerprint entry system rarely works correctly.
They do sell affordable lotions, which may be fine for beginners, but they almost never restock higher-end products. I even planned to splurge on a nicer lotion for my birthday, only to find the vending machine out of order at the Kennesaw location. I was so frustrated.
Long story short, I bought sessions, no one told me they would expire, and when I came in, they said they were gone. The whole experience felt very shady and unprofessional.
After all of this, I switched to Palm Beach Tan. I paid a little more, but it was absolutely worth it—best tan I’ve ever had, no burns, cleaner facilities, and an overall more upbeat and relaxing environment.

So far since signing up I have tried after hours tanning 3 times and never has my fingerprint worked. The employees should do a test run before they let you walk out the door with a purchase. So frustrating that I have to keep calling a number for help. When you call you then have to wait for a text response. Their communication is only by text and for an older person like myself it’s hard to communicate that way. I miss just getting someone on the phone to talk through the issue. Apparently the only way to fix it is to try and be here when they have someone in person which is a limited time and they close early at 6. Making it in Atlanta traffic is a challenge. I wouldn’t recommend this place if you can’t use it during their open hours because getting support is challenging and having to call support to tan every single time has been draining.

Really good experience at 24 Hour Tahiti Tan. Being able to come in after hours is super convenient, and the beds are always clean and comfortable. If there’s ever a small issue with the computer, someone usually helps pretty quickly, and they’re always nice and understanding, especially since it’s after hours. Easy, low stress experience and definitely recommend.

Advertised 24 hour. I have to use 24 hour to go before work at 4 a.m. Everytime I’ve tried to go recently I can get in the door BUT the system to log in does no work. Everyday it’s something different.
