Even though I contacted them right before closing, they were incredibly kind and accommodated my appointment. Angela was amazing—so gentle, made me feel completely comfortable, and ensured the whole experience was pain-free. The receptionist was also very friendly and welcoming. Every time I visit, I leave feeling relaxed and taken care of. Highly recommend!

I had a really disappointing experience at Sweet Peach Wax in Johns Creek.

I brought my 5-year-old daughter with me to my appointment. She has a great demeanor, and I would never put my child in a dangerous or disruptive situation. There are chairs in each of the service rooms that are well away from any wax stations or warmers, so safety was not a concern from my end.

I was told they would not service me because my wax would “take too long.” However, I was also told that if it were a shorter service, I could leave her sitting alone in the lobby. I’m not sure how it makes sense to deny a service for having a child present, yet suggest leaving a 5-year-old unattended in the lobby as an acceptable alternative.

For context, my mother — who would normally watch my daughter — has recently gone through very serious health challenges. I had no other childcare option. I work full-time, and the only childcare I receive is during work hours. So does that mean single mothers don’t deserve to get pampered? Because that’s exactly how this felt.

The interaction made everything worse. The first staff member I encountered was cold and noticeably annoyed. The second staff member who came out was slightly better, but overall the tone was unwelcoming and dismissive — like I should have somehow known better than to even show up with my well-behaved child.

They also stated they “would not charge me.” Of course you wouldn’t charge me — I didn’t receive a service. Framing that as if it were some sort of courtesy felt unnecessary and condescending.

I understand businesses can have policies, but the lack of empathy and the way this was handled made the experience feel judgmental and unaccommodating. It was disappointing, especially as a working mom simply trying to take a small amount of time for herself.

I have a 1-year-old and I’m aware of their no-kids policy, which is why I called ahead to confirm if I could bring my baby. The employee I spoke with said yes and scheduled my appointment for Saturday.

I drove 30 minutes to get there, only to be met by Christina, who was extremely rude and accused me of lying. She said they don’t allow kids and claimed there was no record of my call. She then denied my wax appointment and asked me to reschedule.

The way I was spoken to made me feel disrespected and targeted, and honestly, it felt like I was being treated differently. I don’t have anyone to watch my baby, which is exactly why I called beforehand.

This was very unprofessional and a complete waste of my time. Employees should not schedule appointments they cannot honor, and customers should always be treated with respect.

I hope management sees this and addresses the issue.

Candy was amazing! She made my Brazilian wax quick, clean, and so much more comfortable than I expected. Super gentle, very professional, and the results are perfect. Highly recommend her!

I went there for waxing and they didn’t remove completely as I rechecked there were a lot for hairs. I would not recommend.
