The mini-split at my new house appears to be very poorly designed. When the thermostat is set at 76 for air-conditioning, the room feels like it’s 66! The service technician checked it over, and said there was nothing wrong with the unit. It’s just the way it is designed. It either has to be on, or off, and it will keep cranking out cold air, until there is condensation on the windows and the room is freezing. I wish someone had explained this to me, before I paid for an $89 service fee, only to be told that nothing was wrong. Casey did a fine job, but I am unhappy that I paid for nothing.
