We were going up Blood Mountain in a 1500 Silverado Truck and a 32 foot RV trailer when the truck’s transmission said “No Way”! The road was steep, narrow, curvy and with only 2 lanes and we were broke down. It was NOT a safe place to be- especially with two dogs! So - while we were deciding what to do, and the “Transmission Hot” alarm going off, out of the blue a BIG tow truck just happened to come from the opposite direction and stopped to help us! Had to flatbed a vehicle through Cadillac; they contracted with Turpin's in Hiawassee and the driver, Tracey, was out promptly and exactly when the app said he would be.
He was knowledgeable and kind and helped make sure the vehicle got on the flatbed with no damage. Our road is difficult as well but he made sure to get in a position where my car had to drive the least to avoid damage.
I appreciate the 5-star service!
A gentleman named Dustin came out of his way to help with a strap tied to my back tire. I tried to pay and by dinner and a beer but he refused. A true man of God, thank you so much for saving my trip!
