I have had multiple times they have been rude and disappointing. I once had 8 pups with parvovirus I try to get help with the door or with bringing them in but they told me no because they had parvovirus. Second time I took my Chihuahua pup that had gotten something in her nose and she was drooling from nose and mouth and I had to sit there waiting with no one in lobby but maybe 2 people and I had to wait 3-4 hours. Then I take another Chihuahua in just recently and they automatically tried sending me elsewhere that isn't even a vet it's a groomer I went back in told them they were closed I could wait until 9 when Dr. Came in but the refused to see my dog because they had too many sick visits but there was not anyone in waiting room and parking lot was empty. He had a knot in his throat and swollen chin. I took him to Fayetteville because he had to be seen which he had to end up having surgery. I will not recommend them nor will I ever go back again.

I very recently took my rescue cat and her kittens here. They were feral, and it took a lot of work and patience to get them in a carrier. This was only my 2nd visit to Animal Amour.
Things seemed normal until the tech took Ms.Kitty and her babies to a back room. I assumed they had a more secure room in the back, and were taking them there since they were feral cats. I was wrong.
I learned later that the tech was breaking the rules, that the techs often do this, and management does zip about it. They were supposed to be examined in the exam room with me present! Instead they were taken to an unsecured back room, where they escaped and managed to hide in the housing of an oxygen chamber. It took at least 2 hours and the Clayton County Fire Dept to to rescue Ms.Kitty and one of her kittens from the unit housing.
The clinic manager apologized afterwards, saying that they had safety protocols and none were followed by his staff. I asked for his apology on paper, and he said he couldn't provide a writen apology without permission from his higher ups. Animal Amour is owned by the Southern Veterinarian Partners.
The cats never received any treatment, and have been terribly traumatized! I offered to help catch them when they first escaped and was not allowed to help until things were getting desperate. All of the cats are still exhausted and stressed, some are now coughing and having diarrhea, and they still need to see a REAL vet. I am beyond disgusted, and want to spread the word that Animal Amour in Hampton GA is no place to take your beloved family members!!
I encourage everyone considering this clinic to run away as fast as you can!!! I have never had such a terrible experience at ANY professional establishment of any kind. If I could a worse review, I would. I have plenty of pics of the insanity, but can't figure out how to post them here. I'm m sure CCFD has a full report.

My German Shepherd has been going to Aninal Amour since she was 8 weeks old. She is 10 years old. The staff is great very friendly and informative the facility is clean and has ample space in the wait area
