My little dog was suffering from what I thought was an eye infection, it was not. It turns out that it was two ulcers in her left eye. Ellijay Animal Hospital took her in and evaluated her in less than half hour after arriving. The facility was not equipped to handle these type of injuries. So, they found a hospital with an ophthalmologist, got an appointment on the same day. Unfortunately, for my pet she lost the eye but it could been worse. Dr. Rackley & the Vet Tech (Dana) handled Bear with love & care. They were very gentle with him and explained everything to me and answered all the questions I had. When Dr. Rackley called me back with the bloodwork results he took his time and explaining each test that was abnormal and what was wrong with Bear and how it would be treated.
I appreciate the time he spent with me going over everything. The front office staff is also very nice and always a pleasure to deal with. Thank you all for what you do to keep all of our pets healthy and happy.

I was very impressed with this clinic. The staff is very friendly. We were seen right away. The vet gave me 2 options and was not about taking my money to his advice. The cost was so reasonable I was in shock. If you are looking for a vet please try this one. You will be happy you did. I will now make this my dogs vet.
