“I had the best experience with Jaibella. I was looking for a salon that would be able to silk press my natural hair. I was not disappointed. Not only did I get my silk press and much needed trim, I was educated about my hair and scalp as well. Jas was able to recommend some things for me to better my post-partum hair and scalp and get them back healthy. As in buy from the store, not trying to upsell a service. This one appointment me has made me a returning customer. Also, 2 days later my silk press is still beautiful and full of body (Jas recommend how to prep my hair for bed). Jas is very personable and easy to talk to. We were laughing and chatting like we already knew each other. It was a pleasure being serviced by such gifted and skilled hands. Also my appointment was one on one. I was not juggled between multiple people or waiting while the stylist finished another person. I'll be starting my hair journey with her.“

“Prefacing this with I've been to this location, have pictures from when I was here because I loved the decor and was floored for Karrina getting this tiny space.My hair was done magenta at the time and I still have the texts from that appointment and interaction.Due to apparent "miscommunication" I had written a less than perfect honest 4/5 review which was then flagged. I stand by this rating, while I'll never have a complaint on the skill level, ghosting and gaslighting people who leave less than favourable reviews due to what happened and [presumably] being dishonest with Google to have it removed just rubs me the wrong way.I understand the motivation for wanting to keep nothing but perfect ratings, but a 4 star review isn't going to prevent people from coming to any given location.So imo Website user friendliness needs improvement. It should be simple. Making appointments for hair shouldn't be struggle bus for people not well versed in the syntax of what they need done.I texted the number [I was given] for appointments to guide me a bit through it. I've never used the number for any other purpose than scheduling appointments.I don't think Karrina is an awful person. Her skills in pigment are unmatched. I'm so very disappointed in her and this entire interaction though and it does pretty much soil the positive interactions I had in the past.“

“Zee runs a 5 star business! I found her online and got braids right before the new year and they still look fantastic and they were never too tight! I went for one style but changed my mind at the last minute and got singles and my braids are neat and are lasting with no frizz and I have natural hair. She uses quality hair and is a great braider. Zee was ready for my appointment when I arrived. She is a "no nonsense" professional, she was nice and personable but didn't waste time talking or answering her phone or doing anything but my hair and I appreciate that she respected my time and money. I know i will be back for another style without a doubt.i am getting so many compliments on my hair.“
