It’s definitely a bit challenging if you aren’t self motivated. Instructors are very knowledgeable and very helpful through out your time in school.
I would definitely recommend this school! One thing I would say is that as far as the pre-trip inspection that you really need to put time an effort into memorizing it. Other then that maneuvers are easy but really pay attention to the instructors on how to set the truck. tips and tricks that they show you are very helpful! I was able to pass on my first try! If you're looking for a CDL school I highly recommend ATDS as they will push you to be the best driver possible and encourage you to keep at until you get it! It took me a couple of tries to pass the skills test but once you get the technique, you GOT IT!
My advice: when learning the maneuvers, definitely pay close attention to technique and tips from the instructor. If you can, bring a phone holder so that you can record the practice sessions as this will come in handy. If you can, ask for more time to practice the 4th maneuver as this is the hardest one. ATL Truck Driving school is a great school. Straight to the point. Pretrip info is just like the test and they have online access and videos for you study 24/7. 2 hr classes that work around your schedule and They have one on one training which makes it easier and are very thorough in meneuvers and driving and the instructors teach you everthing you need to know to get your liscense. And I got my liscence!
