Worst massage experience. I agreed to a 45-minute chair massage and things were going well until near the end of the massage when an attempt was made to upsell an hour massage which I declined. The massage was about average compared to other chair massages I have received. When I tried to pay my bill they tried to strong arm me into paying a 20% tip. I was told that the tip that I wanted to pay was not acceptable. I agreed to increase the tip amount which left me with a very bad feeling about the service. I had the massage on Saturday and tested positive for COVID on Tuesday.
This isn't my first time patronizing this business. In fact, 4 th time in a 4 year span. Each time I was satisfied and felt de-stressed, relaxed, and ready to conquer the world! Not this last visit. I was highly disappointed in the actual massage not the service. I've had many massages before and the pressure can be intense if you don't let them know. The cashier/check out lady asked if I'd prefer a man or woman. I requested a woman in hopes of not getting someone too heavy handed. They also have you point out any areas that you want them to put in extra attention. I got the full body massage for an hour. I was undecided on full body and the 30 minutes foot plus 30 minutes back. They took me to the back and I was asked to remove my clothes and get under the sheet on the massage table. Lady came in and pointed out the areas I circled on the screen to give extra attention. Which were my back, shoulders, neck, knees. I Also requested light to firm pressure. She started pressing down on my back initially was fine but it seemed that's all she was going to do is press down on me. I attempted to communicate more pressure and to actually massage me. She didn't understand but she tried. I pointed out my neck because she kept going to my back pressing down which was annoying because my time was ticking away. So she went to my neck and stayed there I know less than 2 minutes. I directed her to go back to my neck and I demonstrated on her arm the pressure and a massaging motion. She went back to pressing in my back pulling/folding my panties down some so she can get to my lower back again she kept doing the pressing technique. I kept requesting more pressure and try to get her not to miss areas. I was thoroughly annoyed and disappointed. Although she was very polite and tried to comprehend my requests she just didn't get it. I wasted my money and time. I still have her a top because she tried but I am not sure if I will recommend or go back. I feel that if they can't communicate well enough within the massage terminology in order to provide a good experience and service they are not ready.I'm used to the masseuse having a system and actually massaging along with the pressing technique and when paying for a full body it should be a full body. She didn't massage my legs, arms nor fingers. I'm getting more upset thinking about the disappointment. If you want to know the name message me I'll tell you the name.
Located in Smyrna near Cumberland Mall, tucked away in a small shopping plaza, LeHua Spa is a hidden gem. Walked in a for a couple's massage with my significant other on a Sunday morning. We were immediately greeted and scheduled a couple's massage. The questionnaire regarding our needs and wants out of the massage was helpful and detailed. Everyone we came into contact with was helpful and pleasant. The massage itself was thorough and so relaxing. And can't beat the prices! We'll definitely be back!!
