My experience so far has been pleasant and comfortable. The dental hygienist I had did a great job with the cleaning, very friendly and gentle. I also had a couple of fillings and bonding work here. Dr. Nguyen made sure I was comfortable and pain-free throughout the procedure. He was very informative in letting me know each step he took. If you're looking for a good and gentle dentist, I highly recommend Dr. Nguyen.
Let me first say that I haven’t been to the dentist since I was 5 because I was traumatized (I’m 33 now) and I have asked around and taken recommendations for many dental offices because I’m just terrified of going to the dentist. I’ve looked and looked and asked and asked and finally decided to make an appointment here from the recommendation of another doctor I see regularly and trust completely. I am SO glad I did. First, I always judge an office by their staff. They give you that first impression and if they’re happy, nice and upbeat, you know they’re happy with where they work and that it’s a great work environment. DDA’s front office staff were incredible!!! The ladies are so friendly and always smiling. They even offered me a tooth pillow to squeeze because they could see how nervous I was. The dental hygienists are also fantastic. You can tell they really love what they do and they have a passion for it. It was amazing to see the before and after photos from the cleaning! Of course, I had cavities and had to come back for multiple appointments to get them filled. The thought of having needles and drills in my mouth had me literally shaking. Dr. Nguyen was AMAZING. He was really gentle and made sure to let me know what he was doing every step of the way. I didn’t feel anything! Not even the needles for the numbing medication! I might have sent my husband in first as a guinea pig and he told me Dr. Nguyen did the same for him, but I didn’t believe him until I experienced it for myself. After almost 30 years of being too scared to go to the dentist, I can honestly say I’ve found the best. Doctor, hygienists, staff and ALL! I definitely look forward to my next cleaning!
