Had my first cut today with Jay. I have long hair and was looking for a barber with experience handling longer hair. After my cut it looks and feels great, and he was a lovely person to chat with. 100% recommend!

In town for a few days and they were recommended. Excellent haircut, good conversation, and a pleasant cool space on a hot day. Todd had a plan for a new cut for me and I am very satisfied with it.

I had to move back to Decatur from upstate New York because I couldn't live without Maxim Barbers. I've been coming to this barbershop since around 2008. I've seen three owners and had my hair cut by almost every barber in this shop. I've always walked away with a great cut. Charles is my ride or die. From a true mohawk to a conservative low taper, his skills are flawless. The vibe is always chill and welcoming. You can tell all these barbers respect one another and their clients. Listen to your hair. It's begging you get a cut at Maxim Barbers.
