We are deeply thankful for the compassionate care our family dog, Ludo, received. The space was calm and comforting, and the veterinarian was kind, patient, and truly caring. It brought us peace knowing Ludo was treated with such dignity and compassion during a very difficult time.
Our experience with Dr Joe was incredible. She was perfect in demeanor and in her clinical care related to the euthanasia. The staff and the process for scheduling were professional and caring. Saying goodbye to our girl was tremendously sad and not easy, but Dr Joe and her staff made it safe and comfortable in our home.
Our 14 year old SharPei declined very quickly the afternoon of Christmas day. I left a message with Herons crossing knowing they wouldn't be open. We made it through the night and they called me at 7am. Dr. Jo was able to come at 11 that day which gave me the time I needed to begin to say goodbye.
Dr. Jo could not have been kinder or more compassionate. She got right down on the floor next to Shar and me and my husband. She was so gentle and the transition was so seamless that I wasn't sure she was even gone.
