My mom was referred to this service. They were disorganized at best. During a time I was working less hours her therapist was able to come all but one week they were meant to. It was a positive experience for her. She was meant to have a second round of physical therapy and occupational therapy. On just one day the physical therapist and occupational therapist came to my home without scheduling. After this, my schedule reduced to having availability from 8-9:30 a.m.. I have worked in home health care for a long time (always for a competitor) so I know a fair bit about how it should go. But recently I experienced home health from the other side when my mom needed care. Everything went really smoothly especially considering that we have a massive nursing shortage in the US right now. Most people don’t realize that when there is a service failure, it is usually because even when everything is done right, there just aren’t enough nurses to meet the need.
