My boyfriend and I came here to get away from the city for our one year anniversary and we had such a wonderful experience! Stuart and Scott and the whole staff were so very kind and welcoming. The inn is absolutely beautiful and quiet with sounds of mourning dove calls every morning. They also served delicious breakfast. The room itself was so cozy, clean, and comfortable. I am going to miss this cloud like king size bed when I’m back home! We also got a massage here which was much needed. It’s also only a 10 min drive to the square too which is convenient. Overall we had an unforgettable one year anniversary here. We are very thankful for the hospitality of the staff.

We enjoyed a two night stay at Mountain Laurel and we purchased the couples spa package, which was excellent. I highly recommend their spa for relaxing massage, and sauna experience. The proactive communication from the owners was best in class, always telling us what was coming next and answering all questions promptly by text. The only reason it is a four star review is simply that the end is situated in a great location, but it is surrounded by trees and doesn’t allow for any mountain views. If you want to stay in a place with big scenic views, this is not your spot. If you want quiet, quaint, romantic spot with a spa in-house, this is definitely your spot. At any given time it appears there are only 8 - 10 guests on site so it is very relaxing, you feel almost like you have the entire place to yourself.

EVERYTHING about this place was amazing! The quiet, the nature, the inn! Scott and Stewart talked to me and our husband every morning about our new grandbaby. Which was so nice they remembered. Buffie and Emily, the masseuses, were absolutely MAGICAL! Do not miss out! The food was so fresh and some of the best breakfasts I’ve had. I highly recommend Thank you Scott and Stewart!

We’ve been here many times over the years & celebrated our 25th anniversary this past weekend. The room was great, we had lunch at Wolf Mountain Vineyards one day & brought stuff for a charcuterie board the next day. Dinner at Monteluce Trattoria. One day, we hung out on the rocking chairs under the cabana with the view of the pool, ate, had wine & listened to music. The grounds are quiet with tons of spots to hang out. We also had massages that were wonderful. Wine bar on site with great choices. Breakfast was amazing & so were the hosts. We really found rest these past couple of days and it was exactly what we needed.

We could not have picked a more perfect place for our weekend getaway. It was peaceful and beautiful and the Dancing Bear cottage was absolutely charming and thoughtfully designed. A great place for us to slow down and reconnect.

We had such a sweet stay! Location was 15 minutes from town which was a beautiful drive. The spa was magnificent and Karla did amazing with our massages. Breakfast was delicious and on time every morning. Truly enjoy our little getaway! Would definitely recommend staying here!
