I have to put this out there because this is one of those “unseen” acts that usually do not get noticed, so it’s my job to share it with others because it says a lot about WHO you are purchasing from. I was there looking for slabs, another customer pulls up in a UHaul, backs up to the loading area ready to start loading the purchase they made with BeechCreek earlier in the week. This customer drove 10+ hours from up north in a rented Uhaul (for those who have driven a Uhaul, no need to say more) to pick up an order. Long story short, the client speaks with the employee, they walk over to the lumber laid out on pallets stacked waiting to be loaded. The customer counted these custom mantels BC made specifically for him. When finished counting, he said they were missing 3 of them. I thought the customer acted very professional considering the circumstances…. After looking all throughout their stock, it was determined in fact the order was right, customer just needed 3 more. So instead of BC telling the customer “I’m sorry sir, because these take several days to make we are unable to provide you the additional beams”, BC went over and beyond and told the customer they would make 3 more for him while he was in town and have them ready for him the next day just in time to catch him in his way out back up north!! So if you are apprehensive about doing business with a company not in your immediate area, BC Timber Co and their sensitivity to “the customer experience” is worth that 10+ hour trip…don’t agree???? Try me. Well done BC Timber Co…because of what I indirectly experienced I will ALWAYS bring my business to to this type of integrity and character! Time to sling dust!
