I highly recommend Better Health by Design — Dr. Curtis Fedorchuk, Dr. Doug Lightstone, Jacob, Shane, Hope, and the whole team. Everyone is attentive, caring, and genuinely invested in your progress. I’ve consistently felt listened to, thoroughly evaluated, and well cared for at every visit — nothing feels rushed.
What also stands out to me is how evidence-based their approach is. They’re thoughtful about data, measurements, and research, and they do a great job explaining the “why” behind what they’re doing. In my experience, the results have been excellent, and the care feels comprehensive and personalized. This is a unique and amazing chiropractic center and light years beyond traditional chiropractic care. They have done more for my back in 3 months than all other chiropractors I've ever gone to. They are actually treating my spine issues after having done x-rays to show me where my spine is curved in ways it shouldn't be. I've NEVER had a chiropractor take x-rays. Other chiropractors just adjust you, but this practice has lots of equipment to treat the irregularities of your spine that you do *before* you are adjusted. I've had lower back pain my whole life. And thanks to Doctor C, I'm getting actual relief. Thank you!

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Doug Lightstone and his entire practice. When I first came to him, my scoliosis had progressed to the point of being truly debilitating. Through his expertise and thoughtful care, he helped fit me for a scoliosis brace and completely changed the trajectory of my health. The reduction in pain alone has been life-changing.
Dr. Doug is incredibly knowledgeable, warm, funny, and genuinely kind. It’s immediately clear that he truly cares about people. His goal is rehabilitation and long-term improvement—not keeping patients coming back endlessly for weekly visits. He wants people to actually feel better.
The entire office reflects that same spirit. The staff is caring and attentive, and the environment is light-hearted, positive, and never gimmicky. There is no pressure to purchase unnecessary products or services—anything that is recommended is clearly for the patient’s health and well-being, not to make an extra dollar.
I’ve also experienced remarkable improvement with TMJ after trying one of the therapies offered in the office, with noticeable results right away. Additionally, Dr. Doug is now treating my child and has gone above and beyond to make her feel comfortable and supported. Watching the same level of care, patience, and attentiveness extend to her has meant more to me than I can put into words.

To say Dr. Curtis Fedorchuk cares for his patients would be an understatement. This doctor, along with his friendly staff, go above and beyond to make sure you are receiving the care you need to alleviate your current pain symptoms while also working toward long term pain relief. There is a reason why patients come from all over the United States to get treatment at Better Health By Design and that is because Dr. Curtis is the absolute best at what he does.

26 years ago, I had an accident that left me with no other alternative other than to have back surgery. I’m now in my mid 40s with arthritis and pretty hateful sciatica pain from leftover scar tissue, which would require a second surgery… A surgery that I am medically ill advised to have until I am in my mid 50s (because then I would need to have another one in my mid to late 70s, which would be riskier). I was prescribed more medication than my father, who was in his late 80’s, for the next TEN YEARS until I could have a second back surgery. And that was also after two failed epidural steroid injections. I absolutely broke down. I will forever be grateful to Dr. Curtis Fedorchuk - he quite literally saved my life. If you’ve never had nerve damage, you won’t understand.
All of those medications I had been prescribed were messing up my stomach, and all of my insides. They were causing more problems than what they were attempting to fix or mask.
I can write this review and all fairness because I have now been a patient at better health by design under Dr. Curtis’s care for the past two years. I have TRULY gotten my life back. I have a high school and a middle school student who I am able to keep up with. I can sleep!!!!!!! I can function like a relatively normal functioning human.
Beyond Dr. C, the entire team at better health by design has quickly become what I would almost consider a small friend almost family group. Walking in there is one of the warmest feelings ever (When they aren’t playing bad music with saxophones-ha!)! We laugh, we joke…. Maybe it’s actually two therapies in one. They are all truly wonderful and getting to know them all personally has been my pleasure. It’s also a sign of how much they truly care because they know every single one of us by name.
And when I am having a rough day, they make me feel validated and go the extra mile to make sure that everything is pain-free. They also follow up on my care, for no other reason and honest to God care.
If you are suffering from nerve pain and you are on more medication than you know you should be, I’m proof that there’s hope outside of pharmaceutical America. Do not hesitate to call Better Health by Design.

Better Health by Design is misleading and unprofessional. They claim to work with insurance, but in reality, they demand full payment upfront—far higher than other clinics.
Dr. Curtis is arrogant, intimidating, and rigid about his rules. He personally lied to me about submitting my insurance claim, deliberately delaying the process so the clinic could secure payment for all sessions. From what I observed in the office, this seems to be standard practice.
I strongly warn anyone considering this clinic to be extremely cautious and verify insurance arrangements before trusting them. Defenetily I give for all team negative rewiew with horrible experience. They neither deserve falf star.
