“My adventures with Friendly at the vet!

Friendly is the best girl ever when She manages you around Her livestock on our farm, which is why I have always had our livestock vets see her at home ever since she bit a vet where we used to live, or so I was told

Taking Friendly to a vet is a concern for me now that we have moved and our new livestock vet doesn’t see dogs

Friendly got an ear ache and I hurt with her because I know how that feels
I got pneumonia at the same time! I got both of us seen and tended to

At first I thought we’d handle it as we usually do on the farm but I’m not so proud as to admit when we need antibiotics

We both did

I took her in yesterday right after I was seen at the ER

Oglethorpe Animal Clinic has no fear trained doctors who were able to tell me when the office would be empty and make her comfort their priority, I am floored and grateful 💕🙏

We were not seen by a no fear trained veterinarian but a veterinarian who had been bitten once by an Anatolian! I really believe this is God’s hand! These two can heal each other. Friendly is not a biter in general, she had a bad experience at the vet where they took her from me and forced a muzzle and she wouldn’t accept that, I don’t blame her but I wasn’t there
I plan to request this same vet again so that the two can acquaint and heal each other

They’ve both got it

I am floored by the kindness and consideration we got, better than I’ve ever had before and we have a lot of animals

Shout out to the beautiful people who run this place

I trust my dog and now I trust this place too and that is HARD to come by

Shout out to the adorable lady who has a Great Dane and American Bull Dog who was our tech, Friendly LOVES that lady and She is a great judge of character

I wish I had gotten names but I was anxious, because Friendly was anxious

This is an incredible practice to work with, including the wonderful lady who discounted our bill at the end

I love yall so much!
